I bought this dress for an event and chose the wine color because it looked less red in the picture than it was in person. Except for the color, this is a good quality dress that was lined well and didn’t show a lot of cleavage. The modesty button stayed closed and seemed like it wouldn’t be pulled open when I moved around. For reference, I purchased the XL. I usually wear a size 16, I have a 37 inch waist, 48 inch hips and am a 40D/DD. I’m 5’7” and the dress hit at my ankles.The dress was extremely flattering on and the placement of the waist made my stomach look smaller. The dress is on the heavier side, so it would be good for spring or fall. The sewing on the dress was well-done and it seemed like it would last. The lace on the cuff of the sleeves stuck out at a point, but if I had kept the dress and washed it, I believe that would have softened and flattened. The lace panel on the bottom showed the best part of my legs and made them seem smaller, too. It is a wrinkly fabric, and if I had kept it, I probably would have had to steam it before every wear.I ended up returning the dress since it’s too red for the event I bought it for, but if I had loved any other colors they had, I would have replaced it. It’s a really nice quality dress that’s figure-flattering for pear-shape or hourglass girls!
