I purchased this for a formal event at which I will be 8 months pregnant. I’m 14 weeks and it’s currently passable with plenty of room to grow. I tried a lot of other brands of similar cut dresses, but the bust/shoulders were all too large, even in the smallest size. For reference: I ordered this item in “navy floral”, size small, on August 12, 2020.I’m 4’11”, 125lb currently, and do not lack in the chest or shoulder areas. This dress is about 5” too long, even with stilettos (which I will likely not be wearing at 8 months pregnant). The plus side is, it has a straight simple hem along the bottom and will be no problem at all for me to shorten at home myself.So many of the “velvet” maternity dresses in this style and price range look great in photos but show up as cheap crushed velvet or just plain polyester. I expected the same dubious fabric with this dress, but the velvet is surprisingly good quality and completely opaque. It could be tighter in the hips and shoulders, but it’s not uncomfortably large and won’t require a safety pin to keep the wrapped bust together.Very good deal for the price.Absolutely IN LOVE! I had a fall wedding to go to, I always have the worst luck with maternity dresses I had to send back three other different styles I had bought before this dress, when I got it I was scared to try it on because of all my bad luck I had before finding this dress, with 100 percent honestly it fits great! It’s flattering on my 6 month belly, it is stretchy, soft and the perfect in between of not to heavy and not too light on the material, I am so happy with my purchase I wish I had more events to wear it to! For size reference I am 5”4 just shy of 5”5 and my at the moment pregnancy weight is 170 I got the large because I wanted room to grow and it fits perfect and still some room to grow without being baggy! If you are contemplating DONT! Just take the leap and buy it!This dress was literally amazing!! I definitely recommend buying this dress. It fit perfectly and I just went with my pre-pregnancy size which was a large. It’s a very comfortable and stretchy fabric and it even felt great to dance in. I’m 5’3” 195lbs and I wore about a 1” heel and it was slightly touching the ground.I love this dress!! I am almost a little over 5.5 months pregnant in this photo. Cannot say enough good things about it! It was warm, comfortable, stretchy in all the right places, and flattering. I got so many compliments people were surprised I got it so cheap from Amazon.My pre pregnancy weight is 118-120 + I wear a Small. I have gained about 10 pounds & I stuck with a size Small & it fit everywhere perfectly. It was a tad loose in the boob area but nothing I couldn’t bear.Must order if you have a formal event but don’t want to spend a ton on maternity clothes!Ordered the size small to wear for a wedding at 24 weeks pregnant. I’m 5’1” and about 144 lbs now, and it was just a bit snug in the hip and thigh area to be comfortable for me. The bust area was also quite loose and would have needed a hook or some alteration (I’m about a 36C), so sizing up would not have been an option for me. The length would have been good with a short heel, which is hard to find for shorter ladies! The belly area was definitely accommodating for a baby bump. Overall though it was a very pretty dress and would be stunning.I purchased this dress for my maternity photos and I received so many compliments! It flattered my bump and made me feel beautiful during a time when I felt like a whale! I was around 32 weeks when I wore it, but it definitely would have fit me if I were further along because of the stretch ability of the fabric. The only thing I will say is that I am 5 foot 5 inches and it was about 1/2 an inch above the ground so if you are tall, keep that in mind!The first time I ordered the dress it was too large but I got to try it on. The second time I ordered a size down since it runs a bit large & it came with a tear in the seam so, I never got to use it for its intended purpose because the date passed. Which was unfortunate because the color was beautiful and the material was very soft. If I had another occasion to wear this dress to I would’ve ordered a replacement for a second time, but oh well! I would recommend trying it though.Beautiful comfortable dress. Wore it in Wisconsin at 26 degree weather with fleece nylons- and wasn't cold. The dress is relatively warm. Bought XL.
