However, the rest were exactly as shown and described in the product details. The black napkins would work well as a guest hand towel, in a bathroom. They would certainly add a distinguished touch to a meal. They’re good quality with a simple appearance. I am a bit surprised that the texture is somewhat coarse, though.They are nice enough, I wouldn’t consider using them for a special event/dinner. But, they would be okay for a casual lunch/brunch or in a guest bathroom.. 4.25 stars.For some reason I thought these were really going to be like thin fabric or something.They're not. They're just really thick paper towel material.They work well but they don't fit the aesthetic I was going for.They're like fancy restaurant paper napkins but black.Still a solid order and I have been using them more than once so the description is not inaccurate.These towels are strong and soft, but also thick and stiff. They work fine as a disposable washroom towel. As a dinner napkin they are fine protecting your lap, not as good when wiping your mouth or face.These are great for leaving out for guests to use in the bathroom or in the kitchen. They are thick and absorbent, and I don't mind that they are a little rougher than regular napkins because they are thicker. I wouldn't say they provide an elegant statement due to the material, but guests love them because they don't have to use a towel that others have used and run the risk of picking up or transferring germs. And, who wants to use someone else's damp towel to wipe your hands? They take up less room than several cloth towels stacked up together, and it's obvious that you just throw it away instead of wondering where the soiled towel bin is. And, unlike some guest disposable towels - you only need one to thoroughly dry your hands!The color is a dark charcoal, just like the picture on the site, which is a neutral color and goes with almost any decor. I really like them, and I'm sure our guests really appreciate them, too.
