I bought this for an October evening vineyard wedding with a "formal" dress suggestion. I think it was perfect with some fancier jewelry! I did order a couple sizes and colors to try, and I ended up keeping the small. I'm almost always a M, so I'd say it runs a tad big, though I'm also small chested, so that could have played a role! Speaking of, I love that it has a snap at the chest opening so it didn't gape open at all since I have young kids and tend to bend down/lean over a lot. I did wear a nude tank under it for my own comfort, and it wasn't visible at all. The wrinkles steamed out easily. Highly recommend!
